This was such a fun session! Rich and I ventured to a park in Prior Lake to take these great shots. Rich looks like a model! For the photos of him on the dock I was almost waist high in the lake. So much for keeping my pants dry! One thing I love about these photos are his eyes. They are the color blue I have always wished my eyes could be. Rich is going to be a heart breaker, that's for sure.

June 8, 2008 - Adelyn Johnson
Adelyn Maybel is the youngest baby I have photographed. She was such a good little girl. But let me tell you, she did not like to be naked! There were many times that she would finally be asleep, Esther would strip her down and as soon as she hit the backdrop the tears would fall. If I was only three weeks old and my mom and aunt kept taking my clothes off while I was asleep to take pictures, I would probably cry too! All in all it was a great afternoon and we got some priceless images of baby Addy.

April 12, 2008 - Esther Johnson
Esther and I had so much fun with this photo session! Thelia had just turned 18 months old so we did a combination maternity/18 month photo session. Esther makes pregnancy look beautiful. In these photos, she was about 8 months pregnant with Adelyn and is still wearing her non-maternity jeans! I hope when Troy and I have children I can look as great pregnant as Esther does. Below are some of my favorite images from the session.

February 16, 2008 - Kendal & Craig's Wedding
There have been so many sessions this year that it would be hard to start blogging from the beginning, so I have decided to blog about some of my most memorable events from 2008.
One of the things I love most about this job is being able to capture some of the most important moments in the lives of people I have known for practically my whole life. Kendal Windholz and I have known each other since middle school. Watching Kendal come down the isle was priceless. It took all I had not to cry when Bruce Harten put his daughter's hand into the hand of her new husband. It was such a sweet moment.

Welcome to my blog!
I have been meaning to start this for awhile but things have been so crazy! Just when I think I am getting caught up on my work, more comes in. I guess that isn't necessarily a bad thing! I hope that you come by often to check out what we have been up to. More in the days to come!
